What is a front load dumpster?
A front-loading dumpster has slots on either side which are designed to fit the prongs of a garbage truck. The truck inserts these prongs then lifts the dumpster over the top of the truck and flips the dumpster over, emptying the waste into the truck’s hopper, or storage compartment.
Dumping trash in dumpsters or containers placed on private property is illegal unless the owner permits them to do so. This includes but not limited to dumpsters placed next to stores, commercial businesses, construction sites, roll-offs or carts at homes, and other kinds of garbage receptacles on private property.
An 8 yard dumpster is the largest size we offer, making it the perfect fit for any business that has a large amount of trash. These dumpsters have 8 cubic yards of volume, providing ample storage for commercial enterprises. Dimensions: 6 feet x 6 feet x 7 feet.
What does a 2 yard dumpster look like?A basic 2 yarder is usually 3 feet long, 3 feet in height, and 6 feet wide with a weight capacity of 400 lbs. Most of the items placed in a 2 yard dumpster consist of everyday trash, such as paper plates, coffee filters, food wrappers, and plastic debris.

Can you put empty paint cans in a dumpster?Paint, lacquer, paint thinner, and wood stain are not allowed in dumpsters because they often contain lead or mercury. Empty paint cans, however, are allowed — as is dry latex paint (as long as it’s wrapped in a plastic bag.) Empty, dried paint cans can be recycled with other metals in your regular recycling bin.
